Grant recipient letters...
Dear Dr. MacKenzie,
“For the last three years you have been home to me. During the phase of my complicated life you became my best friend for life. I want to say, “Thank You” to My CASA, for accompanying me on my toughest journey and helping me survive it.”
On behalf of the children, like the one quoted above, thank you for your generous support of CASA volunteers who speak on behalf of our communities abused and neglected children. The Community Foundation of Warren County’s contribution in the amount of $1,000 makes a significant different to the children we serve. Together we can make a profound difference in the lives of our community’s children.
Sincerely,
Lisa Thompson

To the Scholarship Committee and All Members of the Community Foundation,
I would like to thank you for awarding me your incredibly generous Health Career Scholarship. I have learned that the first year of Dental School comes with many extra expenses, and your scholarship helped alleviate much of the cost of new dental instruments and other essential items for school that come along with tuition. I am happy to be representing our county at UB. I hope to somehow return the favor of your gracious scholarship by eventually returning to Warren County with my new knowledge and skills and hopefully help your Foundation continue to help students receive an education. Again, thank you so much for your scholarship and for believing in the students in Warren.
Sincerely,
Whitney Paul •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Dear Pelletreau Scholarship Committee:
I would like to thank the Cornelius D. and V. Marguerite Pelletreau Memorial Scholarship Fund for choosing me as the 2010-2011scholarship award recipient. The award of $2600 is very much appreciated. It will assist me with my college expenses. I’m looking forward to starting college at Penn State in the fall and to pursue a degree in Accounting. Also I would like to thank the Community Foundation of Warren County for their involvement in this award. Thanks again for contributing and helping me further my education. Sincerely, Stefanie Santo
